Tech Class Notes
--Mr. Wetherbee--

Many students have been asking about getting on our class websites at home and the library.  Here is the information to help you with that.

The class blog, which serves as the main webpage for our class, can be found at:

Many of the activities we use can be found in the “Student Links” tab at the top of the screen.  All of the kindergarten and 1st grade letter, phonics, and reading games can be found there.  This page is continually updated with the most current information.

Our portfolios can be accessed from the portfolio link on the blog homepage or directly at:

Nearly every student’s login name is the first letter of their last name + their first name + their grade.  For example, John Smith who is in 3rd grade would login with SJohn3.  Everyone’s password is currently upa123.  This is in all lower case and no period.  A few students have different login names for various reasons.  If you need help logging in, please have your child ask me, and I’ll make sure he/she writes it down.  Passwords can be changed, but if they are changed, I no longer know what they are or can help students login.  Please don’ change passwords without talking with me first.  Kindergarten and 1st grade don’t have pages setup yet, but they do have accounts.

Once a student has signed in, they need to click on the “My Wikis” tab on the top right.  Then select the page they want to enter from the dropdown list.  Finally they need to click on Macintosh HD:Users:twetherbee:Desktop:Screen shot 2013-10-02 at 3.51.23 PM.png and then the “Edit” button that appears.  Make sure students save any work they want to keep.

I am in no way asking you to work on this at home right now, but many students have asked me how to login at home.  I hope this helps.
